#JKASIA17 Day 54: Respect, Cat & Coffee, Michelin Star, and Friends.

Today, running on about two hours of sleep, my uncle picked me, Kevin, and Jeffrey up to pay respect to grandpa & grandma Kao in the mountains. It's been two years! On the way up, we stopped by an outdoor cafe for some fresh air and time away from the city life... it was so relaxing.. up in the mountains having a fresh cup of coffee with your family.. when we arrived, some minor changes with the area but not too much. We setup our grandparents' photo and food to pray to them, and went downstairs to visit their plaque. Kinda whispered to grandpa kao on how I'm still single af but not to worry, I'll still make him proud! Quick ride back to the bottom of the mountain, our uncle departed. I'll see him again soon! We quickly got ready, and head out to MilkGlider for some good coffee once again. Man, I'm gonna miss that spot! Especially my baby Shimba 😭 Shortly after @tantrovert & @blair.lu joined us for coffee... and we pretty much just kicked it. Thanks again @chrislin.mg and @_mm_lin_ for the great hospitality! The party split up because I had to meet up with Zach, who I've met few months back in the US.. we went to his restaurant where Gilbert (also a friend from the US) and his girlfriend was there to eat with us. We had some Michelin star food at Hachibei near 101, and man! The food we've had was out of this world! Shoutout to Zach for all the details on how each luxury dishes were prepped and cooked. As well as the best orders to enjoy them!

Wrapped up the evening early, because well for one, running on two hours of sleep, and two... early day tomorrow..
